Book: “VOICE IN MOTION — A Journey Beyond the Borders”
After hearing so many things about Europe from volunteers, friends, and others, it wasn’t easy to truly understand the reality behind the borders of the EU, from Southern Europe to Central, Northern, and Western Europe.
I wondered: How is the treatment different between EU citizens, Americans, immigrants, and refugees? I had heard so much, but it was hard to know what was true. When it comes to the life of refugees, I noticed that many people left Greece even after being granted refugee status and never returned. But why? No one really shared the true reasons.
So, I decided to give myself 8 months to travel across Europe, not every country, but many of the biggest ones to understand the situation for myself.
During this journey, I wrote down and recorded everything I saw: the good, the bad, the funny, the ordinary. I wanted to learn how things really work in the EU. Along the way, I met many people during what I now call my Europe Tour No. 1.
Now, the book is finished, and it’s time to share my experience with you, especially those working in the humanitarian sector or in any field related to people on the move.
