🌍 World Peace Day & Goodbye Party in Lesvos – 2024
On 21 September 2024, the world observes World Peace Day, a day dedicated to promoting peace, non-violence, and unity across communities and nations. This year, it was especially meaningful for me as I celebrated my last day in Lesvos with a special gathering filled with gratitude, connection, and reflection. Whit ChangerMakerLabs Vasilis
After spending 7 years and 1 month without documents, my journey in Lesvos has been challenging but transformative. From my early days in Moria Camp to building a life in the city center, every step has been unforgettable.
Through Rad Music International, we created something entirely new for the island, a cultural heritage initiative that celebrates music, diversity, and solidarity, bringing people together like never before.
I carry with me a strong message of peace and unity, and I want to sincerely thank everyone who made this journey possible. Special gratitude goes to Giota Kgrintzou and Agnes Matrahji, as well as my friends from abroad, Rikko, Sabina, Anna Alboth, Matthias, Angelos, and many others.
The time we shared was precious, and the memories will last a lifetime.
Thank you, Lesvos, for the experiences, connections, and inspiration.
